NURSERY
Ages 0 – 3
Nursery is available during each worship and discipleship opportunity. Parents will be given a pager in case of emergencies and are required to remain on the church campus while the child is in the nursery. Please provide diapers, wipes, a spare change of clothes, and a ready-made bottle for your child at drop off.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday Mornings @ 9:45 am – All Ages
We believe the spiritual needs of a child can best be met through regular participation in Sunday school and worship. Bible stories, Bible verses and truths are taught to children through small group Bible-learning activities and large group Bible study. Weekly learning goals and objectives help relate the Bible to the child’s real life experiences.
AFB KID'S CHURCH
For Boys & Girls, Ages 4 – 6
Sunday Mornings @ 11:00 am
Intentional training to ready children to understand the importance of worship, understand the flow of a worship service, and teach the proper way to worship. Service closely resembles corporate worship for adults. This service is meant to equip young children for corporate worship, by age 7. However, families are encouraged to transition children to corporate worship as soon as the children are ready.
AWANA
For Boys & Girls, Ages 3 – 12 Years Old
Wednesday Evenings, September – May @ 6:00 pm
Awana stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed!” It is a discipleship program where your child will learn the truths of the Bible and grow spiritually in a loving and wholesome environment. Each age group will learn Biblical principles and doctrine as well as memorize scripture in a fun setting.
MISSION FRIENDS
For Boys & Girls, Ages 4 – 5
Sunday Evenings at 6:00 pm
Mission Friends focuses on the importance of sharing the gospel through missions. Goal is to educate and introduce children to missionaries connected with the church and to pray for the needs of the missionaries.
CHILDREN IN ACTION (CIA)
For Boys & Girls, Ages 6 – 12
Sunday Evenings at 6:00 pm
Children in Action (CIA) focuses on the importance of sharing the gospel through missions. Our goal is to educate and introduce children to missionaries connected with the church, to pray for the specific needs of the missionaries, to take part in local ministry opportunities, and give missionally to support those serving Christ through missions.
