Each child needs to know that he or she is special and that God has something wonderful in store for each and every one of them. Through play, music, crafts, and age-appropriate activities, we work hard to point them to Christ and have a lot of fun doing it!
We want each child to know God personally, to grow in their relationship with Christ, to serve others, and to share their faith.
The Youth Ministry seeks to encourage young people in their growth and relationship with Christ.
The Young Adult Ministry of Aberdeen First Baptist Church is comprised of both College and Career students. AFB’s young adult class seeks to strengthen and encourage one another through the study and application of God’s Holy Word.
According to Matthew 28:19,20 we are called to go and “make disciples of all nations;” therefore, we believe it is vital to have opportunities to meet with other believers to study God's word and to grow in our faith.

Our pastor has served for 15 years as a USAF reserve chaplain and is currently attached to Seymour-Johnson AFB. Our congregation also has numerous retired and active duty military, so we get it! Each month, the KeenAgers provide opportunities for our 55+ group to gather for fellowship and games, enjoy a delicious meal and an entertaining program. Our senior adults like to go places and do things. Day trips and extended trips take the group on new adventures.
Many are involved in the church’s care-giving ministries to the hospitalized and homebound. Still others are involved in disaster relief and providing assistance with the home maintenance needs of our older members.
Sunday School, or small group Bible study, is the foundational strategy in a church for leading people to faith in Christ. These small group Bible studies are also the most effective way to engage people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and worship.
Join us for Bible study this Sunday morning beginning at 9:45 AM. Classes from nursery, preschool children, youth, young adults, adults and senior adults.
Since God is the one who gives people talents, we believe it’s our responsibility to use those talents to honor Him. Talents like music and worship, which help people connect with God.
Music opportunities include: worship choir, praise team, musicians for praise band, hand bell choir, and children's choir.
Wee Learn Weekday Education is a pre-school program, at Aberdeen First Baptist Church, Mon-Fri 9 am – 12 noon. It is a Christian based curriculum with limited class sizes and affordable tuition.
Classes: Toddlers 1, Toddlers 2, 3-Year Olds, 4-Year Old/Pre-K. Enrichment Class is a multi-aged class that meets on Mondays and provides an additional day of flexible and fun learning for children in one of the younger classes. For Information click below…

We would like to encourage you to come to the special seminar and support group offered here at our church called GriefShare. GriefShare meets weekly and the content is Christ-centered and biblical. You will find this to be a place where you can be around people who understand the pain of your loss. You will be prayed for and learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult season of your life.
