MEN'S MINISTRY

AFB Men's Ministry exists to glorify God by discipling men,
evangelizing the lost and serving those in need.

Our men's ministry at AFB is designed to complement the ongoing weekly opportunities each man has through our Sunday School and our gathered worship.   We believe that men need strong connection to other men in the context of living out our faith in our homes, congregation, work places, and in the community at large.

Discipleship is the foundation for all our activities.  We believe growing as a disciple of Jesus is a wholistic endeavor lived out in the community of the congregation and in one-on-one and small group friendships with other men as we seek to know and live God's Word faithfully.  From a robust discipleship that is intentional, relational and intimate, we believe learning to share our faith and serve others naturally flows.  We have a vision of a congregation being led by an army of men who love God with great devotion and who take up well the responsibility of spiritual leadership in the home and congregation, guided by the Word of God and walking in step with the Holy Spirit.

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Let all that you do be done in love."

1 Corinthians 16:13-14
