The mission of our church is one that doesn’t change over time. Jesus gave us our mission. That’s not something that we have to discern.  Our mission was given to us by Jesus as recorded in Matthew 28:16-20, commonly known as the Great Commission.  This commitment is expressed in our mission statement: Connecting People to the Hope of Jesus in Aberdeen and Beyond

Every five years the pastors and Strategic Planning Committee produce a five-year strategic plan, which is approved by the congregation.  This plan takes into account two main areas in which our leadership and congregation will engage with intentionality: ministry development and facility and grounds needs. Currently our leadership is prayerfully working on the 2026-30 vision plan, will become available upon approval.
